The Company

	FUNDATION The Company Fabrica de Manometros Record S.A. is a manufacturing company established in 1932 founded by Mr. Adolf Schnabel, a mechanical technician from Austria. Schnabel was the first person manufacturing instruments for welding and cutting processes in Brazil. The history of the RECORD company is closely connected to the beginning of the industrialization of the metropolis of Sao Paulo. The company belongs to the pioneer factories in Latin America.
HEADQUARTER The company is located in the industrial east side of the city – Vila Prudente - Rua Orfanato Nº 1387 – CEP 03131-010 – São Paulo Brazil, very closely to the principal highways connecting aiports and Brazilian ports

Analogical and digital types Transmitters for pressure and temperature Pressure calibration equipments Pressure regulators for industrial and medical gases Handle torches for welding and cutting processes MEDIUM SIZE COMPANY Record is a medium size company for instrumentation employing approximately 100 people, working in four organization levels: Directory, Management, Supervision and Plant operation. OUTSIDE SUPPLIERS We use outside suppliers as an important production force. Approximately 65% of our materials and components are external supply and 20% of them are imported components principally from Germany.
QUALITY SYSTEM MANAGEMENT The quality system management of the company is certify by SGS ICS Certificadora Ltda. number Nº BR04/1454 according ISO 9001-2000 quality requirements for design, development, production, and sales for all Record products. Record is founder member of the Calibration Institute from São Paulo – REMESP. The company posses the quality label from PAE – ABIMAQ Program for Excellency with two sterns.
	PROFESSIONAL TRAINING Record has development an annual Training Program called PTR to enable good quality working personal. It includes permanent general education and specifically professional training, in order to reach the best performance of all members and to offer the best service to our customers.
